CompetitionSuite - New Tabluation & Commentary System

SCPA is pleased to announce the arrival of CompetitionSuite, a new and innovative suite of tabulation and judge commentary media managment tools. Beginning in 2012, all SCPA tabulation and judge commentary will be done in conjunction with CompetitionSuite.

Primary contacts for each ensemble participating with SCPA in 2012 have already been sent an email from CompetitionSuite with information regarding creating an account. If you're listed as your ensemble's primary contract and did not recieve this email, please contact crothe@sc-pa.org. After the account has been created, primary contracts will be able to add ensemble staff members to the ensemble's profile, enabling each staff member the ability to access judge commentary.

Some of the benefits of the new system include:

•      •Elimination of MP3 players


•      •Access judge commentary by smart phone by logging into website


•      •Instructors can call a toll-free number for 12 hours after a contest to listen to judge commentary


•      •Ability to access judges commentary by multiple instructors at one time


•      •Text messaging notification of judge commentary when available


•      •Instructors can chart their progress against different groups and criteria


•      •Judges can access their own media through the web site


•      •WGI & SCPA commentary available in a single location

One important note for instructors: If your ensemble's primary contract has not setup an account and added staff members prior to your first competition, you will be unable to retrieve your commentary. The process only needs to be done once, but is required in order to be able to use the new system.

SCPA is thrilled about the advancements made by CompetitionSuite and excited to be partnering with them on the next generation of improvements (some of which you'll be able to see in action at SCPA events this year).
